Importation of 1 item only with a certificate from a Thai doctor is necessary. The certificate confirming the equipment is necessary for the patient’s well-being.
Thailand customs assesses duty and taxes on the CIF value. Thailand uses the Harmonize System HS codes to assess the rate of duty. The dutiable value may be more than the price paid without proper declaration.
